Introducing Will
Will Farmborough set up Supply Experts with the express wish of founding a business that will deliver an efficient, no-nonsense service to clients and candidates within the Procurement & Supply Chain Sector. Will has spent the last 9 years of his 16-year recruitment career recruiting Supply Chain and Procurement Managers/Directors into interim and permanent assignments. Will graduated from Leicester University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career working in IT Consultancy. After travelling the world, he then returned to the UK and started his career in recruitment in 1996. For 15 years, Will worked for two leading international recruitment groups, managing teams in both companies. At his last FTSE 250 business he was Senior Business Manager and the National Sector Specialist for the Supply Chain practice in the UK. His recruitment experience means that Will brings a wealth of experience across a range of disciplines in and outside the Procurement & Supply Chain function. His in-depth knowledge of Procurement, Logistics, Customer Planning, Distribution and Manufacturing allows him to work in partnership with his clients and candidates in delivering added value to the recruitment process. Within Procurement & Supply Chain, Will has recruited for many clients across a broad range of sectors with a focus on the Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Cosmetics, Apparel & Luxury Goods and the Food & Beverage markets. Will became a Fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Practitioners in 2008, and he always takes pride in building long-term relationships based on mutual respect and has a reputation for excellence within his field. In his free time Will can often be found supporting his sons playing Rugby across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. When time allows, Will is a keen sailor.
